۞ I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 and, indeed, that is a most mighty oath, if you only knew -- 76 that this indeed is a noble Qur'an, 77 [conveyed unto man] in a well-guarded divine writ 78 Which none can touch except the purified. 79 a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 Is it such a Message that ye would hold in light esteem? 81 And instead (of thanking Allah) for the provision He gives you, on the contrary, you deny Him (by disbelief)! 82 Why, then, when [the last breath] comes up to the throat [of a dying man,] 83 Whereas you watch at that moment! 84 And We are nearer to him than you are, but you cannot see. 85 why, then, if [you think that] you are not truly dependent [on Us,] 86 do you not bring back his soul, if you speak truly? 87 Then if he be of the broughtnigh. 88 then happiness and delight and Gardens of Bliss are his. 89 and if he be a Companion of the Right: 90 it will be with the people of the right hand, living in peace and security. 91 And if he is one of those who give the lie (to this Message) and go astray, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water, 93 and the heat of a blazing fire! 94 Verily, this is the Very Truth and Certainly. 95 So exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 96
