▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Then I swear by the setting of the stars, 75 And indeed, it is an oath - if you could know - [most] great. 76 that this is indeed a noble Quran, 77 In a Book Hidden. 78 None may touch it, except with ablution. 79 a sending down from the Lord of all Being. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 and do you make it your living to cry lies? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat, 83 And you at that time look on-- 84 And We are nearer to it than you, but you do not see-- 85 if you are not subject to anyone's authority, 86 That you send it (not) back-- if you are truthful? 87 Thus, then, if he be of those Nearest to Allah, 88 then happiness and delight and Gardens of Bliss are his. 89 If it is of the people of the right hand, 90 Then [the angels will say], "Peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right." 91 But if he was of the deniers [who were] astray, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water, 93 And burning in Hellfire 94 This is indeed an utmost certainty. 95 So glorify with praises the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
