▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 And that is indeed a tremendous oath, if you understand. 76 Most surely it is an honored Quran, 77 in a well-guarded preserved Book, 78 which none but the pure may touch; 79 A Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 Do you then hold this announcement in contempt? 81 And you make its denial your share? 82 Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,- 83 And ye are then looking on. 84 and We are nearer to him than you, although you cannot see Us -- 85 why, then, if you are not subject to Our command, 86 do you not bring back his soul, if you speak truly? 87 Then, if he is one of the honoured, 88 it will have rest, happiness, and a beautiful Paradise. 89 If it is of the people of the right hand, 90 [he, too, will be welcomed into paradise with the words,] "Peace be unto thee [that art] of those who have attained to righteousness!" 91 But if he (the dying person) be of the denying (of the Resurrection), the erring (away from the Right Path of Islamic Monotheism), 92 For him is Entertainment with Boiling Water. 93 and a roasting in Hell. 94 Most surely this is a certain truth. 95 Therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) proclaim the Purity of the name of your Lord, the Greatest. 96
God the Almighty always says the truth.
