▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I do not need to swear by the setting of the stars 75 And that is indeed a tremendous oath, if you understand. 76 This is indeed the noble Qur’an. 77 In a Book well-guarded (with Allah in the heaven i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 78 Only they can reach it who are clean (of mind). 79 Sent down by the Lord Of The Creation. 80 Do you, then, take this discourse in light esteem, 81 And to give (it) the lie you make your means of subsistence. 82 Why, then, when (the soul) cometh up to the throat (of the dying) 83 right before your very eyes? 84 And We are nigher unto him than ye are, but ye behold not 85 Then why do you not, if you are not to be recompensed, 86 do you not bring back his soul, if you speak truly? 87 And if the deceased was of those brought near to Allah, 88 there shall be calmness and ease, a Garden of Delight. 89 And if he is of those on the right, – 90 Then [the angels will say], "Peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right." 91 And if he is one of the rejecters, the erring ones, 92 Then [for him is] accommodation of scalding water 93 and will be scorched by the Fire. 94 Most surely this is a certain truth. 95 Therefore glorify the name of your Lord, the Great. 96
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
