۞ But nay! I swear by the falling of stars; 75 And verily, that is indeed a great oath, if you but know. 76 that this is an honorable Quran 77 in a hidden Book 78 None may touch it, except with ablution. 79 It is a revelation sent down from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Is it such a Message that ye would hold in light esteem? 81 And have ye made it your livelihood that ye should declare it false? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat, 83 And ye the while (sit) looking on,- 84 – at that moment when We are closer to him than you, although you do not see (Us) 85 So why is it not, that if you are not to be repaid, – 86 do you not cause the soul to return to him if you are truthful in your claim? 87 [ALL OF YOU are destined to die.] Now if one happens to be of those who are drawn close unto God, 88 Then [for him is] rest and bounty and a garden of pleasure. 89 and if he be a Companion of the Right: 90 Then [the angels will say], "Peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right." 91 And if he is from the deniers, the astray, – 92 Then [for him is] accommodation of scalding water 93 And burning in hell. 94 Indeed, this is the true certainty, 95 Therefor (O Muhammad) praise the name of thy Lord, the Tremendous. 96
