۞ Nay, I swear by the setting of the stars -- 75 (and that is indeed a mighty oath, did you but know it) 76 This is indeed the noble Qur’an. 77 in a hidden Book 78 which none but the pure [of heart] can touch: 79 A revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 Do you then hold this announcement in contempt? 81 And make [the thanks for] your provision that you deny [the Provider]? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat, 83 And you at that time look on-- 84 – at that moment when We are closer to him than you, although you do not see (Us) 85 if you are not subject to anyone's authority, 86 why can you not bring it (the soul) back (to life)? 87 If he is among the near 88 Then breath of life, and plenty, and a Garden of delight. 89 And if he be of the fellows on the right hand, 90 Then (the greeting) "Peace be unto thee" from those on the right hand. 91 And if he be of those who treat (Truth) as Falsehood, who go wrong, 92 Then an entertainment of boiling water. 93 And burning in Hell-fire. 94 Verily this! this is the very truth. 95 So exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 96
