۞ But nay! I swear by the falling of stars; 75 And that is indeed a mighty adjuration if ye but knew,- 76 it is indeed a Glorious Koran, 77 [conveyed unto man] in a well-guarded divine writ 78 which none shall touch except the purified; 79 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Is it this discourse that ye hold lightly? 81 And to give (it) the lie you make your means of subsistence. 82 Why, but when the soul leaps to the throat of the dying 83 And ye are then looking on. 84 We are closer to him than you, but you cannot see. 85 Then why is it not-- if you are not held under authority-- 86 Cause ye it not to return, if ye say sooth? 87 Then, if he is one of the honoured, 88 happiness [awaits him in the life to come,] and inner fulfillment, and a garden of bliss. 89 And if he is of those on the right hand, 90 Then [the angels will say], "Peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right." 91 But if he (the dying person) be of the denying (of the Resurrection), the erring (away from the Right Path of Islamic Monotheism), 92 Then an entertainment of boiling water. 93 And roasting in a Blaze. 94 Lo! this is certain truth. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Supreme. 96
