▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Then I swear by the setting of the stars, 75 And indeed, it is an oath - if you could know - [most] great. 76 it is surely a noble Koran 77 Kept in a secure Book. 78 Which none shall touch but those who are clean: 79 (This Quran) is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 Is it this discourse that ye hold lightly? 81 and make it your daily bread [as it were] to call the truth a lie? 82 So why was it not, when the soul reaches up to the throat, – 83 and you are watching at that time 84 We are closer to him than you, even though you cannot see? 85 Wherefore then, if ye are not to be requited 86 Call back the soul, if ye are true (in the claim of independence)? 87 Then if he is one of those drawn nigh (to Allah), 88 then for him there shall be comfort and plenty and a Garden of Bliss; 89 And if he be of the fellows on the right hand, 90 it will be with the people of the right hand, living in peace and security. 91 But if he is of the deniers and the errants, 92 a welcome of burning despair [awaits him in the life to come,] 93 and the roasting in Hell. 94 Verily this! this is the very truth. 95 Extol, then, the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 96
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
