Who is he that will lend Allah a goodly loan, so that He may multiply it for him, and his shall be a hire honourable? 11 On the Day you see the believing men and believing women, their light proceeding before them and on their right, [it will be said], "Your good tidings today are [of] gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein you will abide eternally." That is what is the great attainment. 12 On the Day when the hypocrites men and women will say to the believers: "Wait for us! Let us get something from your light!" It will be said: "Go back to your rear! Then seek a light!" So a wall will be put up between them, with a gate therein. Inside it will be mercy, and outside it will be torment." 13 They [who will remain without] will call out to those [within,] "Were we not with you?" - [to which] the others will answer: "So it was! But you allowed yourselves to succumb to temptation, and you were hesitant [in your faith,] and you were doubtful [of resurrection]; and your wishful thinking beguiled you until God's command came to pass: for, [indeed, your own] deceptive thoughts about God deluded you 14 "And so, no ransom shall be accepted today from you, and neither from those who were [openly] bent on denying the truth. Your goal is the fire: it is your [only] refuge - and how evil a journey's end!" 15 ۞ Has not the time come for the believers to surrender their hearts to Allah’s remembrance and to this truth that has come down? And do not be like those who were earlier given the Book(s) and when a long term passed over them, their hearts became hardened; and many of them are sinners. 16 Know that God revives the earth after it was dead. We have indeed made clear for you the signs, that haply you will understand. 17 For those who give in Charity, men and women, and loan to Allah a Beautiful Loan, it shall be increased manifold (to their credit), and they shall have (besides) a liberal reward. 18 In Allah's sight only those who truly believe in Allah and His Messengers are utterly truthful and true bearers of witness (for the sake of Allah). For them is their reward and their light. As for those who gave the lie to Our Signs, they are the people of Hell. 19
