He it is, Who has made the earth subservient to you (i.e. easy for you to walk, to live and to do agriculture on it, etc.), so walk in the path thereof and eat of His provision, and to Him will be the Resurrection. 15 Have you become unafraid of the One Who controls the heavens, that He will not cause you to sink into the earth when it trembles? 16 Or have ye taken security from Him Who is in the heaven that He will not let loose on you a hurricane? But ye shall know the manner of My warning. 17 And certainly those before them rejected (the truth), then how was My disapproval. 18 Do they not see the birds above them with wings outspread and [sometimes] folded in? None holds them [aloft] except the Most Merciful. Indeed He is, of all things, Seeing. 19 Do you have any armies who will help you against the Beneficent God? The disbelievers are certainly deceived (by satan). 20 Who shall provide for you if He withholds His sustenance? Nay; but they persist in rebellion and aversion. 21 What, is he who walks prone upon his face better guided than he who walks upright on a straight path? 22 Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him), “It is He Who created you, and made ears and eyes and hearts for you; very little thanks do you offer!” 23 Say: He it is Who multiplieth you in the earth, and unto Whom ye will be gathered. 24 They say: “If you are truthful, tell us when will this promise (of the Hereafter) be fulfilled?” 25 Proclaim, “Surely Allah has its knowledge; and I am only a Herald of plain warning.” 26 But when they see it nigh, the faces of those who disbelieve will be awry, and it will be said (unto them): This is that for which ye used to call. 27 Say thou: bethink ye if Allah destroy me and those with me; or have mercy on us, who will protect the infidels from a torment afflictive? 28 Say, "He is the Most Merciful; we have believed in Him, and upon Him we have relied. And you will [come to] know who it is that is in clear error." 29 Say, "Have you considered if your water were to sink into the ground, who could then bring you flowing water?" 30
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
