Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2

I do not need to swear by what you see 38 And what you do not see 39 because the Quran is certainly the word of a reverent messenger. 40 not the speech of a poet. Little do you believe! 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer (or a foreteller), little is that you remember! 42 It has been revealed by the Lord of the Universe. 43 And if he had invented false sayings concerning Us, 44 We would indeed have seized him by his right hand, 45 and then severed his life vein; 46 And none of you could withhold Us from (punishing) him. 47 Surely it is a Good Counsel for the God-fearing. 48 And verily We! We know that some among you are beliers thereof. 49 But truly (Revelation) is a cause of sorrow for the Unbelievers. 50 And most surely it is the true certainty 51 Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 52

God the Almighty always says the truth.
