So by oath of the things you see. 38 And by whatsoever you see not, 39 it is the speech of a noble Messenger. 40 and is not - however little you may [be prepared to] believe it - the word of a poet; 41 nor is it the speech of a soothsayer little do you remember. 42 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We would indeed have seized him by his right hand, 45 and then severed his life vein; 46 And not one of you would have withheld us from punishing him. 47 And verily, this [Qur'an] is a reminder to all the God-conscious! 48 We certainly know that some of you have rejected it 49 And indeed it (this Quran) will be an anguish for the disbelievers (on the Day of Resurrection). 50 Certainly it is a Truth of absolute certainty. 51 (Muhammad), glorify the name of your Lord, the Great One. 52
