Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2

But nay! I swear by that which you see, 38 And by oath of those you do not see. 39 [That] indeed, the Qur'an is the word of a noble Messenger. 40 and is not - however little you may [be prepared to] believe it - the word of a poet; 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer: little admonition it is ye receive. 42 (It is) a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 43 And if Muhammad had made up about Us some [false] sayings, 44 We would certainly have seized him by the right hand, 45 And then severed his life-artery, 46 And not one of you could have withheld Us from him. 47 But verily this is a Message for the Allah-fearing. 48 We know very well that there are some among you who reject Our signs -- 49 And most surely it is a great grief to the unbelievers. 50 for, verily, it is truth absolute! 51 Therefore-glorify the name of your Lord, the Great. 52
