So I swear by what you see 38 and by that you do not see, 39 that this is the speech of an honourable Messenger, 40 And it is not the speech of a poet; how little do you believe! 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer. Little is it that you reflect! 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 43 And if the messenger were to invent any sayings in Our name, 44 We should certainly seize him by his right hand, 45 And We should certainly then cut off the artery of his heart: 46 And there is no one of you who could prevent [Us] from him. 47 And indeed this Qur’an is an advice for the pious. 48 We know very well that there are some among you who reject Our signs -- 49 And indeed it is a despair for the disbelievers. 50 And Verily, it (this Quran) is an absolute truth with certainty. 51 (Muhammad), glorify the name of your Lord, the Great One. 52
