Nooh 2 of 2

Noah said, "My Lord, indeed they have disobeyed me and followed him whose wealth and children will not increase him except in loss. 21 "And they have plotted a mighty plot. 22 They said: “Do not abandon your deities; do not abandon Wadd, nor Suwa, nor Yaghuth, nor Yauq, nor Nasr. 23 And they have led many astray, and Thou increasest the wrong-doers in naught save error. 24 They were drowned because of their habitual sinfulness, and sent to Hell, and did not find any helper other than God. 25 And Nuh said: My Lord! leave not upon the land any dweller from among the unbelievers: 26 Surely, if You leave them they will mislead Your worshipers and father none but the immoral, and unbelievers. 27 "O my Sustainer! Grant Thy forgiveness unto me and unto my parents, and unto everyone who enters my house as a believer, and unto all believing men and believing women [of later times]; and grant Thou that the doers of evil shall increasingly meet with destruction!" 28
