▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Nay, I swear by the setting of the stars -- 75 And verily, that is indeed a great oath, if you but know. 76 Indeed, it is a noble Qur'an 77 In Book well-guarded, 78 Only they can reach it who are clean (of mind). 79 (This Quran) is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 Do you make its denial your means of livelihood? 82 Wherefore then - when the soul cometh up to the wind-pipe 83 the while you are [helplessly] looking on 84 But We are nearer to him than ye, and yet see not,- 85 Then why, if you are not indebted (to Us for life), 86 Do ye not force it back, if ye are truthful? 87 Then, if he is one of the honoured, 88 then for him there shall be comfort and plenty and a Garden of Bliss; 89 And if he is of those on the right, – 90 Then upon you is the greetings of peace (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), from those on the right. 91 And if he be of the beliers, the erring, 92 its dwelling will be boiling water 93 And roasting at hell-fire. 94 Surely this is the truth of certainty. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Great One. 96
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
