Say, [O Muhammad], "I only invoke my Lord and do not associate with Him anyone." 20 Say thou: verily I own not for you power of hurt nor of benefit 21 Say: "No one can save me from God, nor can I find a place of refuge apart from Him, 22 My duty is only to convey that which I receive from Him and His messages." For those who disobey God and His Messenger there is the fire of hell, wherein they will abide forever. 23 When they are confronted by what they have been promised, they will realize who is weaker in helpers and fewer in numbers. 24 Say: 'I do not know whether that which you are promised is nigh, or whether my Lord will appoint for it a space; 25 Knower He of the Unseen, and He discloses not His Unseen to anyone, 26 Except to him whom He chooses as an apostle; for surely He makes a guard to march before him and after him, 27 That He may know that they have preached the message of their Lord. And He comprehendeth whatever is with them, and He keepeth count of everything numbered. 28
