Nay; I swear by the moon, 32 And by the night when it withdraws, 33 and by the day when it dawns (with its radiance), 34 Indeed hell is one of the greatest entities. 35 A warning to mortals, 36 a warning to everyone of you whether he would like to come forward or lag behind. 37 Every soul will be a pledge for that which it hath earned, 38 Except those on the Right, (i.e. the pious true believers of Islamic Monotheism); 39 in Gardens they will question 40 From the guilty. 41 “What took you into the hell?” 42 They shall say: We were not of those who prayed; 43 "Nor we used to feed Al-Miskin (the poor); 44 We used to wade (in vain dispute) with (all) waders, 45 And we used to deny the Day of Judgment, 46 until the Inevitable End [death] overtook us." 47 So the intercession of the intercessors will not benefit them. (The disbelievers will not have any intercessor.) 48 Then what is wrong with them (i.e. the disbelievers) that they turn away from (receiving) admonition? 49 like frightened donkeys 50 running away from a lion? 51 Forsooth, each one of them wants to be given scrolls (of revelation) spread out! 52 Nay! But they fear not the Hereafter (from Allah's punishment). 53 Yes indeed, this is an advice. 54 Then whoever wills will remember it. 55 they will only take heed if God so wills: He is the Lord who is worthy to be feared: the Lord of forgiveness. 56
