Nay, and by the moon, 32 By the receding night 33 and the morn when it dawns! 34 Verily, it (Hell, or their denial of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, or the Day of Resurrection) is but one of the greatest calamities. 35 As a warning unto men, 36 to everyone of you, whether he chooses to come forward or to hang back! 37 Every soul will be in captivity for its deeds 38 Except the companions of the right, 39 In Gardens, they seek answers, 40 concerning the sinners, 41 “What drove you to Hell?” 42 They will say: "We were not of those who prayed; 43 Nor did we used to feed the poor. 44 and we plunged along with the plungers, 45 And we used to deny the Day of Judgment, 46 until there came to us the certainty. 47 So the intercession of intercessors shall not avail them. 48 Then what is wrong with them that they turn away from admonition, 49 As if they were alarmed donkeys 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Rather, every person among them desires that he would be given scriptures spread about. 52 By no means! Aye, they fear not the Hereafter. 53 Nay, this surely is an admonition: 54 Then whoever wills will remember it. 55 And they will not mind unless Allah please. He is worthy to be feared and worthy to forgive. 56
