No, by the moon! 32 And [by] the night when it departs 33 By the morning when it brighteneth. 34 Indeed hell is one of the greatest entities. 35 A warning to mortals, 36 For the one among you who wishes to come forward or stay back. 37 Every soul will be in captivity for its deeds 38 Except those on the right side. 39 In gardens they will ask one another 40 Of evil-doers: 41 "What has caused you to enter Hell?" 42 They will say, "We were not of those who prayed, 43 Nor did we feed the wretched. 44 And we used to enter into vain discourse with those who engaged [in it], 45 And we used to deny the Day of Recompense 46 until there came to us the certainty. 47 The mediation of no mediators will avail them then. 48 What is then the matter with them, that they turn away from the admonition 49 As if they were asses taking fright 50 fleeing before a lion? 51 Nay, everyone of them desires that he should be given pages spread out (coming from Allah with a writing that Islam is the right religion, and Muhammad SAW has come with the truth from Allah the Lord of the heavens and earth, etc.). 52 No! But they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Nay, verily. Lo! this is an Admonishment. 54 So whoever pleases may mind it. 55 But none will remember, unless Allah wills, He is the Owner of fear, the Owner of forgiveness. 56
