Nay, verily: By the Moon, 32 And by oath of the night when it turns back. 33 and the dawn when it is white, 34 Verily, it (Hell, or their denial of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, or the Day of Resurrection) is but one of the greatest calamities. 35 as a warner to mortals. 36 alike to every one of you, who want to go forward or hang back. 37 Every soul is held in pledge against its own deeds, 38 Except the people of the right hand, 39 (They will be) in Gardens (of Delight): they will question each other, 40 concerning the sinners, 41 “What took you into the hell?” 42 They will answer: "We were not among those who prayed; 43 Nor did we feed the wretched. 44 and we plunged along with the plungers, 45 "And we used to deny the Day of Judgment, 46 Till death overtook us. 47 The intercession of their intercessors shall not benefit them. 48 What aileth them, therefore, that they are from the admonition turning away? 49 As if they were asses taking fright 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Nay, but everyone of them desireth that he should be given open pages (from Allah). 52 No indeed; the truth is that they have no fear of the Hereafter. 53 No! Indeed, the Qur'an is a reminder 54 Let him then who heeds remember it. 55 And they will not heed unless Allah willeth (it). He is the fount of fear. He is the fount of Mercy. 56
