Indeed We have sent down the Qur’an upon you, in stages. 23 So be patient for the decision of your Lord and do not obey from among them a sinner or ungrateful [disbeliever]. 24 And mention the name of your Lord [in prayer] morning and evening 25 And during night, prostrate yourself to Him (i.e. the offering of Maghrib and 'Isha' prayers), and glorify Him a long night through (i.e. Tahajjud prayer). 26 As to these, they love the fleeting life, and put away behind them a Day (that will be) hard. 27 We have created them and have given them strength. Had We wanted, We could have replaced them with another people like them. 28 Indeed, this is a reminder, so he who wills may take to his Lord a way. 29 But you cannot will, unless Allah wills. Verily, Allah is Ever All-Knowing, All-Wise. 30 He admits whom He wills into His mercy; but the wrongdoers - He has prepared for them a painful punishment. 31
