Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By those [winds] sent forth in gusts 1 And the winds that blow violently 2 And [by] the winds that spread [clouds] 3 thus separating [right and wrong] with all clarity, 4 And then by those that instil Remembrance into the hearts. 5 to excuse some and warn others: 6 Most surely what you are threatened with must come to pass. 7 When the stars are extinguished, 8 And when the heaven is cloven asunder. 9 And when the mountains are blown away; 10 And when the time of the Noble Messengers arrives. 11 For what day is it timed? 12 For the Day of Sorting out. 13 And what knowest thou what the Day of Decision is? 14 Woe on that day unto the beliers 15 Did We not destroy [so many of] those [sinners] of olden days? 16 So shall We make later generations to follow them. 17 [for] thus do We deal with such as are lost in sin. 18 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 Then We lodged you in a secure place (the womb) 21 For a certain appointed time, 22 Then We facilitated (your birth). How well do We calculate! 23 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 24 Have We not made the earth (as a place) to draw together. 25 for both the living and the dead? 26 And have placed therein firm, and tall mountains; and have given you to drink sweet water? 27 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 28 "Go to what you used to deny; 29 Go to the shadow with three ramifications, 30 affording neither shade, nor protection from the flames, 31 The fire will shoot out sparks as big as huge towers 32 (Or) as it might be camels of bright yellow hue. 33 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 34 This is the Day they shall not speak, 35 neither be given leave, and excuse themselves. 36 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 37 This is the Day of Judgement. We have assembled you all together with past generations. 38 If now ye have any craft, try that craft upon Me. 39 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 40

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
