Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
I CALL TO WITNESS those who are sent consecutively, 1 By the raging hurricanes, 2 Then by oath of those that lift and carry. 3 by (the angels) who make a clear distinction between right and wrong 4 by those who bring down the reminder, 5 to excuse some and warn others: 6 Assuredly, what ye are promised must come to pass. 7 So when stars are effaced. 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 And when the mountains are carried away by wind. 10 and the appointed time to bring the Messengers together arrives, (then shall the promised event come to pass). 11 To what day is the doom fixed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 What do you know what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 15 Did We not destroy [so many of] those [sinners] of olden days? 16 We will now cause the later ones to follow them: 17 Thus do We deal with the sinful ones. 18 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 19 Did We not create you from a humble fluid, 20 Then We placed it in a place of safety (womb), 21 for an appointed term? 22 We determined; excellent determiners are We. 23 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 24 Have We not made the earth to draw together to itself, 25 for the living and the dead, 26 And placed in it lofty and broad stablisers, and gave you sweet water to drink? 27 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 28 'Depart unto that which ye were wont to belie. 29 Go on towards the threefold shadow 30 wherein there is neither shade, nor freeing from the blazing flames 31 it throws spits as (high as a huge) palace, 32 So like golden camels." 33 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 34 This is a Day they will not speak, 35 nor shall they be given permission, so that they can apologize. 36 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 37 That will be the Day of Reckoning. Gathered will be (you) and the earlier (generations). 38 If you have any plans, use them. 39 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 40
