Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit); 1 By the raging hurricanes, 2 and the rain-spreading winds, 3 thus separating [right and wrong] with all clarity, 4 by those who bring down the reminder, 5 excusing or warning, 6 surely, that which you have been promised is about to fall! 7 Then when the stars lose their lights; 8 Heavens will rent asunder. 9 and the mountains scattered, 10 And when the messengers are (all) appointed a time (to collect);- 11 To what day is the doom fixed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what will convey unto thee what the Day of Decision is! - 14 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 15 Did We not destroy the ancient people 16 We will now cause the later ones to follow them: 17 So We serve the sinners. 18 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 19 Have We not created you from a fluid (held) despicable?- 20 then placed it in a secure repository [the womb], 21 for an appointed time? 22 Then We facilitated (your birth). How well do We calculate! 23 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 24 Have We not caused the earth to hold within itself 25 Both for the living and the dead, 26 And made therein mountains standing firm, lofty (in stature); and provided for you water sweet (and wholesome)? 27 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 28 Proceed now towards that which you were wont to deny as false; 29 Proceed to a shadow rising in three columns: 30 Neither having the coolness of the shade nor availing against the flame. 31 Lo! it throweth up sparks like the castles, 32 As if they were tawny camels. 33 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 34 On that Day they will be speechless, 35 Nor will it be open to them to put forth pleas. 36 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 37 This is the Day of Judgement; We will have assembled you and the former peoples. 38 So if you have a plan, then plan against Me. 39 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 40
