Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the winds sent forth in swift succession, 1 storming tempestuously 2 and raise (clouds) and scatter them around, 3 And the scattering winds scattering. 4 and by those who reveal revelations (to the prophets) 5 To cut off all excuses or to warn; 6 Verily that which ye are promised is about to befall. 7 Then when the stars lose their lights; 8 And when the heaven is opened 9 And when the mountains are blown away, 10 And when the Messengers are gathered to their time appointed; 11 For what day is that time fixed? 12 To the Day of Decision. 13 And what will explain to thee what is the Day of Sorting out? 14 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 15 Did We not destroy the ancient people 16 So shall We make later (generations) follow them. 17 Thus do We deal with the guilty. 18 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 19 Have We not created you from a fluid (held) despicable?- 20 Then We placed it in a secure resting-place, 21 Till an appointed term, 22 So We did measure, and We are the Best to measure (the things). 23 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle. 25 for the living and the dead, 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and given you fresh water to drink? 27 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 28 GO ON towards that [resurrection] which you were wont to call a lie! 29 proceed towards the three-pronged shadow, 30 "Neither shading, nor of any use against the fierce flame of the Fire." 31 that shoots sparks like dry faggots, 32 and yellow camels. 33 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 34 This is the day they shall not speak 35 nor shall they be given permission, so that they can apologize. 36 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 37 That will be the Day of Reckoning. Gathered will be (you) and the earlier (generations). 38 if you have a trick, try you now to trick Me!' 39 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 40
