Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the (winds) sent forth in quick succession, 1 by (the angels) as swift as blowing winds, 2 By those which cause earth's vegetation to revive; 3 separating one from another, 4 and then giving forth a reminder, 5 excusing or warning, 6 Surely that which ye are promised will befall. 7 So when the stars are obliterated 8 And when the sky is split apart. 9 And when the mountains are carried away by wind. 10 and when all the apostles are called together at a time appointed... 11 To what day is the doom fixed? 12 The Day of Judgement. 13 And what do you know, what the Day of Decision is! 14 On that day, woe will be to those who have rejected God's revelations! 15 Have We not destroyed the earlier generations? 16 Thereafter We shall cause to follow them the latter ones. 17 Thus do We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 19 Did We not create you from a liquid disdained? 20 then placed it in a secure repository [the womb], 21 until an appointed time? 22 And We determined [it], and excellent [are We] to determine. 23 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 24 Have We not made the earth a housing 25 For the living and the dead, 26 and have We not set on it proud, firm mountains, and given you sweet water to drink? 27 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 28 Proceed now towards that which you were wont to deny as false; 29 proceed towards the three-pronged shadow, 30 Neither shading nor availing against the flame. 31 Surely it sends up sparks like palaces, 32 As if they were tawny camels. 33 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 34 On that Day they will be speechless, 35 Nor given leave to make excuses. 36 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 37 This is the Day of Decision, We have assembled both ye and the ancients. 38 If you now have any conspiracy, carry it out on Me. 39 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 40
