Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By oath of those that are sent, one after the other. (The verses of the Holy Qur’an or the angels or the winds). 1 Then by oath of those that push with a strong gust. 2 By the spreading winds spreading. 3 then the criterion (the verses of Koran), separating 4 by those who bring down the reminder, 5 excusing or warning, 6 Most surely what you are threatened with must come to pass. 7 So when the stars are put out, 8 And when the heaven is opened 9 The mountains reduced to dust and blown away, 10 and when all the apostles are called together at a time appointed... 11 To which Day has this task been deferred? 12 The Day of Judgement. 13 Would that you knew about the Day of Judgment! 14 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 15 Did We not destroy the former peoples? 16 So shall We make later generations to follow them. 17 As such shall We deal with the sinners. 18 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 19 Created We you not of water despicable, 20 which We placed within a sure lodging 21 for an appointed time? 22 We then calculated; so how excellently do We control! 23 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle 25 for the living and the dead, 26 And placed therein high mountains and given you to drink sweet water therein? 27 On that Day (of Judgment) woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 28 Proceed to that which you denied. 29 Go on towards the threefold shadow 30 which neither gives shade nor protects one from the flames. 31 which - behold! - will throw up sparks like [burning] logs, 32 As if they were yellowish [black] camels. 33 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 34 That will be the Day on which they will not (be able to) utter a word, 35 nor will they be allowed to proffer excuses. 36 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 37 Such is the Day of Decision. We will gather you with the ancients. 38 If now ye have any craft, try that craft upon Me. 39 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 40
