The News (Al-Naba')
40 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej) before The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ What are they asking each other about? 1 Of the mighty Announcement, 2 Regarding which they hold different views. 3 Nay, but they will come to know! 4 Nay, again, but they will come to know! 5 Have We not made the earth an expanse, 6 And the mountains as pegs? 7 And We have created you in pairs. 8 And We have made your sleep as a rest. 9 made the night as a covering, 10 and made the day to seek livelihood, 11 And We built above you seven strong ones, 12 And placed (therein) a Light of Splendour? 13 And from the wind-driven clouds We send down waters pouring in abundance, 14 In order to produce grain and plants with it. 15 and gardens dense with foliage? 16 Surely the Day of Judgement has an appointed time; 17 the Day when the Trumpet shall be blown, and you will come forth in multitudes; 18 And the heavens shall be opened as if there were doors, 19 The mountains put in motion turning into a mirage. 20 Indeed hell is lying in ambush. 21 A dwelling place for the Taghun (those who transgress the boundry limits set by Allah like polytheists, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, hyprocrites, sinners, criminals, etc.), 22 In which they will remain for ages [unending]. 23 They will not taste therein cool or any drink. 24 Except boiling water and benumbing cold: 25 as a fitting recompense for their deeds. 26 For lo! they looked not for a reckoning; 27 having given the lie to Our messages one and all: 28 And We have kept recorded everything in a Book, accounted for. 29 So taste you (the results of your evil actions); no increase shall We give you, except in torment. 30

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
