Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? 27 He raised its roof and made it proper. 28 Its night doth He endow with darkness, and its splendour doth He bring out (with light). 29 and thereafter spread out the earth, 30 He extracted from it its water and its pasture, 31 and the mountains He set firm, 32 [all this] as a means of livelihood for you and your animals. 33 When the great over-whelming event arrives, 34 The day when man will call to mind his (whole) endeavour, 35 and the blazing fire [of hell] will be laid open before all who [are destined to] see it. 36 then as for whosoever was insolent 37 And prefers the life of this world, 38 Then surely the hell, that is the abode. 39 But as for he who feared the position of his Lord and prevented the soul from [unlawful] inclination, 40 Their abode will be the Garden. 41 They ask you about the hour, when it will come. 42 [But] how couldst thou tell anything about it, 43 Unto thy Lord is the Knowledge of the limit fixed therefor. 44 You are only a warner to him who has a fear of it. 45 On the Day whereon they behold it, it will appear to them as though they had not tarried save an evening or the morn thereof. 46
