Are you more difficult to create, or is the heaven that He constructed? 27 high above? 28 Gave darkness to its night, and brightness to its day; 29 And after that He spread the earth; 30 after that bringing forth from it its water and its pasture land, 31 and making the mountains firm: 32 In order to benefit you and your cattle. 33 Therefore, when there comes the great, overwhelming (Event),- 34 The day when man will call to mind his (whole) endeavour, 35 And the Scorch will be made apparent to any one who beholdeth. 36 So as for he who transgressed 37 And had preferred the life of this world, 38 that blazing fire will truly be the goal! 39 And as for him who dreaded standing before his Lord, and restrained his soul from lust, 40 Their abode will be the Garden. 41 They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the Hour: when is its arrival? 42 What concern do you have regarding its explanation? (You are not bound to tell them) 43 This matter is in the hands of your Lord. 44 Thou art only the warner of him who fears it. 45 On the Day they see it, they will feel as though they had stayed (in the grave) no more than one evening or one morning. 46
