Al-Takweer
The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the sun is folded up, 1 when the stars are thrown down, 2 And when the mountains are driven. 3 And when the she-camels big with young shall be abandoned, 4 And when the wild beasts shall be gathered together; 5 when the seas shall be set boiling, 6 When the souls are sorted out, (being joined, like with like); 7 questions are asked about the baby girls buried alive, 8 For what sin she was killed, 9 And when the pages are laid open, 10 and when heaven is laid bare, 11 And when hell is lighted, 12 And when the Garden is brought nigh, 13 (Then) every soul will know what it hath made ready. 14 BUT NAY! I call to witness the revolving stars, 15 the planets that run their course and set, 16 And by the night when it departeth, 17 The rising dawn, 18 [That] indeed, the Qur'an is a word [conveyed by] a noble messenger 19 The mighty, the honoured in the presence of the Lord of the Throne. 20 [the word] of one to be heeded, and worthy of trust! 21 And your companion is not gone mad. 22 he truly beheld him [the angel] on the clear horizon. 23 he is not grudging of the Unseen. 24 Nor is it the word of a satan accursed. 25 So whither do you stray? 26 It is naught but a reminder for the nations, 27 For those of you who desire to walk the path that is straight, 28 And you do not please except that Allah please, the Lord of the worlds. 29

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
