The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
WHEN THE SUN is folded up, 1 and when the stars lose their light, 2 and when the mountains are made to vanish, 3 And when full-term she-camels are neglected 4 when the savage beasts are gathered 5 And when the seas are set on fire, 6 And when souls are reunited, 7 and when the girl-child buried alive shall be asked: 8 For what sin she was killed 9 And when the books are spread, 10 And when the heaven has its covering removed, 11 And when Hell-fire shall be kindled to fierce ablaze. 12 when Paradise is brought near, 13 Then every soul shall know that which it hath presented. 14 No! I swear by the slinkers, 15 The stars which rise and set, 16 And the close of night, 17 and brightening morning, 18 Most surely it is the Word of an honored messenger, 19 one mighty and held in honour with the Lord of the Throne; 20 Obeyed and worthy there of trust. 21 Your companion (Muhammad) does not suffer from any mental illness 22 Assuredly he beheld him in the horizon manifest. 23 He is not avid of the Unseen. 24 And it is not the word of an accursed Satan; 25 So where are you going? 26 This is nothing but a Reminder to the worlds, 27 For those of you who desire to walk the path that is straight, 28 And ye will not, unless (it be) that Allah willeth, the Lord of Creation. 29
Almighty Allah's Truth.
