Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ When heaven is split open, 1 When the planets are dispersed, 2 when the seas are made to burst forth, 3 and when the graves are overturned 4 Every soul shall know what it has sent before and held back. 5 O man! What is it that lures you away from your bountiful Sustainer, 6 Who created you then formed your symmetry, then gave you right proportion, 7 In whatever Form He wills, does He put thee together. 8 By no means! Aye, ye belie the Requital. 9 yet there are over you watchers 10 Honorable recorders, 11 who know what you do. 12 As for the Righteous, they will be in bliss; 13 whereas the wicked will be in Hell; 14 roasting in it on the Day of Recompense 15 and then shall never come out of it. 16 And what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 17 Again, what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 18 It is the Day when no soul can do a thing for another soul. That Day, the command belongs to Allah. 19
