Shattering (Al-Infitaar)

19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

۞ WHEN THE SKY is split asunder, 1 And when the stars become dispersed, 2 the oceans are merged together, 3 when the graves are overturned, 4 Each soul will know what it had sent ahead and what it had left behind. 5 O man! What has deceived you about your generous Lord 6 Who created you, shaped you, and made you well-proportioned, 7 and composed thee after what form He would? 8 Nay, but ye deny the Judgment. 9 but you should know that there are angelic guards 10 Illustrious scribes 11 Knowing all what you may do. 12 As for the Righteous, they will be in bliss; 13 And indeed the sinners are in hell. 14 In which they will enter, and taste its burning flame on the Day of Recompense, 15 and which they shall not [be able to] evade. 16 And what do you know – of what sort is the Day of Justice! 17 Again, what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 It is the Day when no one shall have the power to do anything for another, and all command shall be Allah's. 19
