Al-Infitaar
Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the sky breaks apart 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 and when the seas burst beyond their bounds, 3 And when the graves are ransacked, 4 Each soul will know what it had sent ahead and what it had left behind. 5 O mankind, what has deceived you concerning your Lord, the Generous, 6 Who created thee, then moulded thee, then proportioned thee? 7 In whatever Form He wills, does He put thee together. 8 Despite this, you deny the Day of Judgment, 9 but you should know that there are angelic guards 10 noble scribes, 11 They know whatever you do. 12 Indeed, the righteous shall (live) in bliss. 13 And lo! the wicked verily will be in hell; 14 Which they will enter on the Day of Judgment, 15 And they shall by no means be absent from it. 16 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! 17 How then can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 18 The day on which no soul will have the authority over any other soul; and on that day, the entire command belongs to Allah. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
