Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the Sky is cleft asunder; 1 When the planets are dispersed, 2 the oceans are merged together, 3 and when the graves are overturned 4 Each soul will know what it had sent ahead and what it had left behind. 5 O mankind, what has deceived you concerning your Lord, the Generous, 6 Who created you proportionately and fashioned you 7 In whatever Form He wills, does He put thee together. 8 No indeed; but you cry lies to the Doom; 9 But verily over you (are appointed angels) to protect you,- 10 Kind and honourable,- Writing down (your deeds): 11 aware of whatever you do! 12 The pious will surely be in heaven, 13 and the evil-doers will be in hell 14 They shall enter it on the day of judgment. 15 and then shall never come out of it. 16 And what could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 17 Again, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! 18 The day on which no soul will have the authority over any other soul; and on that day, the entire command belongs to Allah. 19
