Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the heaven becomes cleft asunder, 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 when the seas overflow; 3 and when the graves are overturned 4 Each soul shall know that which it sent afore and that which it left behind. 5 O man! What has deceived you away from your Lord, the Most Beneficent? 6 Who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you? 7 In whatsoever form He listed He constructed thee. 8 Yet you deny the Last Judgement. 9 Verify there are for you guardians, 10 noble scribes 11 Knowing all what you may do. 12 Surely the virtuous shall be in Bliss, 13 whereas, behold, the wicked will indeed be in a blazing fire 14 They shall enter it on the day of judgment. 15 to burn therein. 16 What could let you know what the Day of Recompense is! 17 Again, what will make you realize what the day of judgment is? 18 On that day, no soul will be of any benefit to any other soul. On that day, all affairs will be in the hands of God. 19
