Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven is split asunder, 1 And when the stars become dispersed, 2 When the oceans begin to flow, 3 and when graves are laid open, 4 then a soul shall know its works, the former and the latter. 5 O man! What has deceived you about your generous Lord 6 Who created thee, then fashioned, then proportioned thee? 7 Into whatever form He pleased He constituted you. 8 By no means! Aye, ye belie the Requital. 9 And yet, verily, there are ever-watchful forces over you, 10 Generous and recording, 11 and these honorable scribes know whatever you do. 12 Verily, the Abrar (pious and righteous) will be in delight (Paradise); 13 And verily the ungodly shall be in a Scorch. 14 They will [enter to] burn therein on the Day of Recompense, 15 And they shall by no means be absent from it. 16 And what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense? 17 And once again: What could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 18 The day on which no soul will have the authority over any other soul; and on that day, the entire command belongs to Allah. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
