Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
CONSIDER the sky full of great constellations, 1 and [then bethink thyself of] the promised Day, 2 And the bearer of witness and those against whom the witness is borne. 3 Cursed were the people of the ditch (the story of the Boy and the King). 4 The people of the fuelled blazing fire. 5 Behold! they sat over against the (fire), 6 to watch what they were doing to the believers, 7 They had no other reason for hating them except that they believed in God the mighty, worthy of praise, 8 Him to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth! And Allah is Witness to all things. 9 Verily, as for those who persecute believing men and believing women, and thereafter do not repent, hell's suffering awaits them: yea, suffering through fire awaits them! 10 Verily those who believed and worked righteous works, theirs shall be Gardens whereunder the rivers flow; that is the supreme achievement. 11 The vengeance of God is terribly severe. 12 Indeed, it is He who originates [creation] and repeats. 13 And He only is the Oft Forgiving, the Beloved of His bondmen. 14 Lord of the Throne of Glory, 15 Effecter of what He intends. 16 Hath there come unto thee the story of the hosts 17 Of the Fir'awn and the Thamud? 18 Nay, but the unbelievers still cry lies, 19 But Allah doth encompass them from behind! 20 But this is an honored Qur'an 21 In the Preserved Tablet. 22
