The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
CONSIDER the heavens and that which comes in the night! 1 - Ah, what will tell thee what the Morning Star is! 2 It is the star shining brightly. 3 No human soul but hath a guardian over it. 4 So let man consider of what he is created: 5 He was created from spurting fluid, 6 That issued from between the loins and ribs. 7 Most surely He is able to return him (to life). 8 On a Day whereon secrets shall be out. 9 He will have no strength or helper. 10 By the Firmament which returns (in its round), 11 And [by] the earth which cracks open, 12 this (Qur'an) is surely a decisive Word, 13 not a flippant jest. 14 As for them, they are but plotting a scheme, 15 And I am plotting a plot. 16 Therefore give them some respite give them some time. 17
Almighty Allah's Truth.
End of Surah: The Comet (Al-Taareq). Sent down in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
