The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
I CALL TO witness the heavens and the night Star -- 1 And what will explain to thee what the Night-Visitant is?- 2 The very brightly shining star! 3 [for] no human being has ever been left unguarded. 4 So let man consider of what he was created. 5 he has been created out of a seminal fluid 6 issuing from between the loins [of man] and the pelvic arch [of woman]. 7 Surely, He is Able to bring him back, 8 The Day when secrets will be put on trial, 9 [man] will have no power, and no helper. 10 By oath of the sky from which comes down the rain. 11 and by the earth bursting with vegetation; 12 It is surely a decisive utterance; 13 And it is not a frivolity. 14 Indeed, they are planning a plan, 15 and so am I: 16 So respite the unbelievers; delay with them awhile. 17
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
