The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the heaven, and At-Tariq (the night-comer, i.e. the bright star); 1 How will you comprehend what the night star is? 2 It is the piercing star - 3 No soul is there but hath over it a watcher. 4 Let man consider what he was made of: 5 He has been created from an ejected drop of fluid 6 issuing from between the loins [of man] and the pelvic arch [of woman]. 7 Surely, He is Able to bring him back, 8 On the day when hidden thoughts shall be searched out. 9 So man will neither have any strength nor any aide. 10 By the heavens, ever-revolving, 11 and the earth, bursting forth with plants! 12 Behold this is the Word that distinguishes (Good from Evil): 13 and is not to be taken lightly. 14 Indeed, they are planning a plan, 15 But I too am devising a plan. 16 So respite thou the infidels - respite them gently, 17
Almighty Allah's Truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
