The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
Almighty God's Truth.
