Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who created and proportioned 2 Who determines and directs, 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 The one who will enter the biggest fire. 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 However, (the disbelievers) prefer the worldly life 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of God the Almighty.
