Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
