The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 In which they will then neither die nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 And glorify the name of their Guardian-Lord, and (lift their hearts) in prayer. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
