The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
