The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who created and proportioned 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 but the reprobates will turn away 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 And glorify the name of their Guardian-Lord, and (lift their hearts) in prayer. 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
