Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 And Who brings forth herbage, 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 but the reprobates will turn away 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
